Course Objectives:
The goal of this course is designed to make student teachers familiar with basic concepts in teaching listening and speaking skills, to enable them to plan and implement a sample lesson plan for a specific group of language learners and let them to have microteaching activities in a communicative classroom.
Course Content:
The focus of this course is analyzing different stages and techniques of teaching reading, writing and grammar in a detailed way; development of language awareness and teaching skills for learning groups at different ages and language abilities; lesson planning principles and techniques appropriate to different proficiency levels.
Course Methodology:
