As the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Teaching at Yeditepe University, we commemorate our late department head, esteemed Turkologist Dr. C. Eralp Alışık with mercy, gratitude and longing on the 4th anniversary of his passing away. Prof. Dr. O. Bülent Yorulmaz will make the opening speech, and the graduates of our department, Assist. Assist. Samet Onur and Assist. Assist. Soner Atalan will present their papers titled "Old Idyll Turkish (XVI-XIXth century)" and "Kipchak Turkish in Gregorian Neighborhood". On March 1, 2022, between 11.00 - 13.00 at Yeditepe University Rectorate Building Blue Hall, our event will be broadcast simultaneously on Zoom platform.
