Course Objectives: 
Understanding the purpose, importance and outcomes of psychosocial support in areas such as education, society and health; Understanding of psychosocial support and intervention services in our country and comparing them with services in other countries; Learning the basic principles and techniques, what are the necessary skills, the fields of psychosocial support and the scope and means of the intervention, to guide when necessary; obtaining information about psychosocial support services in the field of education; to be able to examine projects.
Course Content: 

Individuals / groups experiencing psycho-social, emotional or economic problems due to reasons such as crisis, disaster, emergencies, social events, trauma, and their reactions to problems; the purposes of providing psychosocial support to individuals / groups in need of psychosocial support; social work interventions to be applied to overcome the problems; principles, features, means of intervention; strengthening psychological resilience; psychosocial support and student personality services in education, case studies, related projects and readings.

Course Methodology: 
1: Lecture, 2: Case study, 3: Problem Solving , 4: Discussion, 5:Demonstration, 6: Group work
