Course Objectives: 
Teaching the concepts of loss and grief to the students, discussing the experiences of loss and grief in accordance with theoretical approaches, providing students effective helping skills and awareness to use in the grief counseling process.
Course Content: 

The meaning of the loss and grief process, normal grief and pathological grief, changing rituals depending on socioeconomic and sociocultural factors, protective factors during the grief process, coping and resilience, application examples from the field and case studies.

Course Methodology: 
1: Lecture, 2: Case study, 3: Problem Solving , 4: Discussion, 5:Demonstration, 6: Group work
Course Evaluation Methods:
