Course Objectives: 
The aim of the course is to enable students to learn about the characteristics, diagnosis, evaluation and education of learning disabilities and special talented individuals
Course Content: 

Basic concepts; individuals with learning disabilities / attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder; special talented individuals; classification: educational, psychological, medical; prevalence and incidence; causes: prenatal, moment of birth, postnatal; screening / diagnosis: medical, developmental and educational screening / diagnosis; academic and non-academic characteristics; team and cooperation; educational environments; scientifically based applications; characteristics of families; attitudes towards individuals with learning disabilities / attention deficits and hyperactivity disorders, special abilities and their families; family services, support and legal rights.
