Course Objectives: 
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to principles and techniques of counseling. Emphasis is placed on emprically-based theories, theoretically based interventions, and current issues in the counseling profession.
Course Content: 
This is an interactive cooperative learning course in which topics are presented by the instructor, discussed and analyzed critically in the classroom according to the needs and the interests of the students to upgrade the understanding about learning and development with its both theoretical and practical aspects.  Basic objectives: Principles of counseling, techniques of counseling, practices of counseling, and new dynamics and problems in counseling.
