Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to enable teacher candidates to explain the development of children's literature in Turkey and in the world, to recognize the features that should be found in publications prepared for preschool children, and to plan Turkish language activities.
Course Content: 

It contributes to explain the place and importance of children's and youth literature in early childhood. Explains the basic features of children's literature genres. Evaluates the basic features of children's literature genres.
