Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to help students understand the importance of child psychology and mental health.
Course Content: 
In this course, students will have information about emotional, social, sexual and physical development of children. In addition, required information on the diagnosis of normal-abnormal behavior and adaptation problems (stuttering, mutism, wetting, finger sucking, nail eating, aggression, jealousy, tick, stubbornness, sleep problems, eating problems, attention problems and hyperactivity, school fear, theft, telling lies) will be given. Students will learn about the effects of different family situations (such as divorce, step-parents, losing one of the family members) on the child's mental health.
