Course Objectives:
To inform students about educational process and educational institutions in the previous Turkish states, the role of education ın the establishment of modern Turkish state, new educational reforms and the ideas of main Turkish educators
Course Content:
Education in previous Turkish states, medreses, sıbyan mektebs, Enderun school, the reform attemps in the Ottoman period, the developments of education in modern turkish period, the main educators who give direction to Turkish education and their ideas on education
