Course Objectives:
This course is designed to introduce pre-service English language teachers in their 3rd year to the teaching profession and a 5th or 7th grade EFL class of a state or private school. It also aims to improve prospective teachers’ understanding of the link between theory and practice through short teaching practices in a real school context, observing EFL learners, and examining materials used in an EFL class. Thus, the course focuses on enhancing their teaching and planning skills through reflections on their school experience.
