Dr. Emine Temel Alemdar, a graduate of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Teaching of our faculty, published her book titled "Geç Dönem Doğu Türkçesinde Geleneksel Tıp Kitabı" from Eastern Library Publications. With this study, which consists of traditional practices, which are also called "folk medicine, folk medicine, folkloric medicine, medical folklore" and includes activities other than the information representing the scientific understanding of medicine, it is aimed to reveal the understanding of "medicine" that has taken place in the cultural history of Turkish language and embodied in Late Eastern Turkish, to examine the medical vocabulary of the period and to determine the characteristics of literary writing language.
