Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to teach the major figures of modern Turkish poetry and the the prominent turning points of the genre. Following the projections of Turkish modernity, thematic and structural changes of Turkish poetry is also an issue of the lecture.
Course Content: 

Modern poetry; Structural and thematic changes in form and content. Biographies of prominent figures. Analysis of major works in genre.
