Course Objectives: 
This course is a survey of Turkish Literature. It aims to give an overview of the Turkish Literature in a historical order, beginning with the Orkhon inscriptions.
Course Content: 

Theoretical concept of history of literature.

Relations between civilization and literature. Variations of literature according to difference of civilizations.

Introducing the prominent figures of literature through history.

Introducing the literary genres through history of Turkish literature.

Introducing the general bibliography of Turkish literature.
