Course Objectives: 
This course focuses not only on reading, writing, listening, and speaking that are standard activity areas of language and literature but also on alternative teaching methods in the light of scientific developments and contemporary learning- teaching theories. Within the framework of alternative methods, the topics as Major Course Practice, Integration of Different Study Fields, Supplementary Mother Tongue Course, Project-based Mother Tongue Course, Action and Production Oriented Mother Tongue Course, Learning Environments out of Schools, Game in Mother Tongue Course, and Use of Tools and Materials in Mother Tongue Course. Additionally, Reading, writing, listening, speaking, and language analysis included in the activity areas of mother tongue /literature are discussed in accordance with the curricula of Language Expression and Literature Education.
