Course Objectives: 
The course aims to acquaint the students with Arabic and Persian elements of Ottoman Turkish. The course comprises mainly the reading and discussion of a selection of set printed texts. The readings will be of texts written in Ottoman Turkish in 19th century. The students can also transcript these texts.
Course Content: 

the translation and interpretation of Ottoman texts writen in 19th century.
