Course Objectives: 
To provide students with basic knowledge on the foundations, development and philosophy of guidance and counseling and understand the educational importance of these services.
Course Content: 

Basic concepts, student personality services, the importance of guidance and counseling in the student personality services, principles of guidance, types of guidance and counseling, services and techniques of guidance and counseling, organization of guidance and counseling, personnel in guidance and counseling, the new developments in guidance and counseling, student appraisal techniques, a collaboration between the counselor and the teacher, the guidance tasks to be done by the teachers.
