Course Objectives: 
At the end of teaching- learning activities related to this course, students will have these adequacies: define distance education, explain distance education, explain national and universal dimensions of distance education, compare and contrast between advantages and limits of distance education and formal education, give examples about applications of distance education, comprehend distance education in higher education.
Course Content: 

Introduction of distance education, distance education in instructional environments, technologies used in distance education: TV, Video, Radio and Printed Materials. Techniques and methods used in planning, preparing and implementations of distance education technologies. Main concepts about distance education, structure and working of instruction with radio, video and film catalogs, historical development of education television and researches, kid TV programs and its importance, adult TV programs and its importance, analysis of open high school programs, analysis of open university programs, internet schools and virtual classes, interpret communication and information technologies in terms of distance education process, satellite technologies in distance education.

Course Methodology:
