Course Objectives: 
The aim of the course is to develop and improve students’ “social awareness” and social consciousness.
Course Content: 
  • English and mathematics workshops for students of 4th – 12th grades: Every school day, between the hours 16:15 – 17:45
  • Cooperation with Educational Research Club of YU.

Volunteering for NGOs.

Material Sharing

Documents  
Assignments Responsibilities are the assignments.

Attendees work in the areas and NGO which are approved by faculty.

Attendees may choose a NGO different from the one suggested. In this case, he/she brings the approved contract with a work-plan.

 

According to the fields of work, coordinator organizes groups and chooses group leaders.

 

Responsibilities of group leaders:

  1. Responsible for the group to the coordinator.
  2. Attends meetings every week.
  3. Performs all kinds of duties.
  4. If necessary, can choose an assistant, organizes sub-groups.
  5. Communicates among the members of the group.
  6. Takes attendance, and informs the coordinator.
  7. Records the works done and informs attendees and the coordinator. At the end of the term, reports his/her suggestions.

 

Responsibilities of group members:

  1. All members are responsible for carrying out the entire job assigned by the leader and the coordinator.
  2. Attends meetings every week.
  3. Stays in contact with all group members.
  1. Performs all duty and if needed, brings out his/her suggestions.
