Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to help students improve their verbal communication skills using appropriate expressions and strategies for various verbal communication situations; developing the ability to express emotions and thoughts effectively through dialogue, presentation, and discussion activities; development of speaking and listening comprehension skills using current, original, audio visual, audiovisual materials.
Course Content: 
The focus of this course is the meaning of learning and teaching English; objectives and basic principles of English teaching; the history of English teaching and learning approaches; basic skills in teaching English; examples of in-class practice, current trends and problems in teaching English, components of effective English teaching; social, cultural and economic perspectives in English teaching
