Course Objectives: 
The purpose of this course is to help students obtain translation skills in English to Turkish and Turkish to English. The course focuses on translation studies including a variety of texts; the relation of linguistic structure, function and context; awareness of structural and functional similarities and differences between Turkish and English; different properties of different text types; approaches to translation studies.
